Side shows were quite popular back ago, in that they were interesting even if it was razzmatazz. Evgen Ringling had a very good sideshow similar 6to the others. Lost as is so many other things of the past. aftershow concert, candy pitch, menagerie, etc. whatever happened?
King Charles sez Dory Miller gave him the oppty in the early '50s to become the first black band leader under the big top. He was very proud of that accomplishment.
