To Chic Silber




Spent the rest of the morning rereading this stuff, most of it long forgotten.
Lots of interplay between the Washington Office and the Mike Melson-Dave Cohn staff.
Much more entertaining than Water for Elephants.

I remember Mike Melson but not

Dave Cohn these are some of the

guys that graduated from the VA

office after it moved out of DC

Baker Brown was of DC early on

The book everybody keeps asking

you for is just a compilation of

these marvelous notes with just

slight censorship as required

If John thought the ol Vargas

show was Peyton Place then I can

only imagine his description of

these joints over the years

Not many of us left know where

the bodies are buried

both great guys both in spirit &

capability & I had good times

with both of them

Chic, Ryan took over Caseys tigers and has done a great job for what the past 5 seasons? I enjoy Kelly Miller everytime they get anywhere near me.. His dad was and elephant man and Radar has taken on the task of keeping track of elephants past and present..Fine young man...

circus animals to me forever & it

seems you have a similar fondness
