I would suggest this is the old great Kludsky circus back in the early 1900s. Hugo schmidt told me about Karl nKludsky and his circus and large herd of elephants. Where is the TV picture. I met Gosta Kruse in the 60s on Betram Mills. Trolle Rhodin told me about his Scandinavian ancertry wkereby his father was an animal trainer.

Aurelia Zavatta, my mother, grew up on the Kludsky show along with Wilson Story. She also mentioned there were some baby elephants born on the show.

This is definitely Circus Kludsky, behind the stables can be seen a "tower" of the Villa Kludsky in Görkau (present Jirov in Czech Republic). The picture is not possible to date exactly, since various sources state different dates for arrival and death of Byby/Bubi. the African elephant that can be seen on the picture. Some sources state Bubi arrived 1929 from Firma Ruhe and died 1930.

According to Rudolf Kludsky, he fetched Buby and other animals i Munich in autumn 1920, while other surces state he arrived at Kludsky in 1922.

According to a worker of National museum in Prague, where Bubis dermoplatique is stored, he died 1930 when the circus was in Spisska Nova Ves in Slovakia.

Other sources state he died in 1933.

But it seems to be cinfirmed that Bubi came to Circus Kludsky from Munich Zoo with the elephantkeeper Eberlein.

A young man Miloš Krinert stopped him when he ran away in panic and so he was hired as a elephant keeper.

Bubi is said to have Killed a circus worker in Temesvar, Romenia, during tour with Circus Kludsky.
