Realistic hands are difficult to carve. Hence, the odd poses on these guys.

How true!
One winter at Lincoln Center with Big Apple my wife took an Art Class down on 57th Street that provided live models.
I asked her why she always included their private parts in her sketches and she replied "I can't do hands!"
