I believe this to be father and daughter "Franklin and Astrid" from a Sarasota circus family.

John, I cannot imagine it would be anybody else. I wonder if the year of the photo is correct. They were with me on the show under canvass and the last canvass season I was there was 1949.1960 would have added about another 10 years or more to Astrid's age. Also, the seats with the light showing through do no look like the height of the Ringling seats and I see a row of poles missing that Ringling had. but then again Ringling closed under canvass in 56. The must be them, but it would have to have been much earlier than the 1960's. What do you think John? I am confused. Jackie LeClaire

Now as I look again, it was in the end ring and those are the bleachers behind them so the probably did not have those other poles on the end.. Really curious now. Jackie LeClaire
