Corrigan's Steak House in Thousand Oaks, is owned by Tom Corrigan, the late Ray's son. Inside, Tom has lined the walls with posters from movies in which his father appeared, along with scores of autographed photos of his co-stars. One poster is of the Red Ryder movie, CHEYENNE CONQUEST. Wild Bill Elliott played Red Ryder, and Bobby (later Robert) Blake played Little Beaver. They came to Waco, Texas on a promotional tour, and became the first men with whom I was ever onstage. Corrigan's occupies the former restaurant building of the House of Orlando's, one of the Jungleland crowd's favorite watering holes.
Wild Bill Elliott?!! One of my favorites.
Roger you may remember a quote I sent Buckles some time back from an old B E movie...something like, "Gentlemen, please stand back and let my lady see the elephant."
