There was a Dolinda de la Plata (1870-1965) who was the first wife of elephant trainer Eph Thompson and she had a sister Rosita who was married to the great English-born South American clown Frank Brown (1858-1943) who retired in 1924. I wonder if there is any relationship? Does anyone know anything about Rita de la Plata?
