Elephant Pix #10


The Beatty-Cole Show opened the 1962 season with a month long run at Palasades Park featuring The Roy Rogers Liberty Horses, Chet Juszyk and the Wallendas however it overlapped the Hemstead date, so the Beatty-Cole elephants were taken out early and replaced by us and Oscar Cristiani's act.
Bill English ran the show.
Elephants here are "Anna May", "Sadie" and "Lydia".

The overlap you mention was actually

the Long Island Arena in Commack &

the Island Garden date in Hempstead

was either Fleckles or Don Francisco

I recall hearing from some folks on

that Palisades date that even with

double sidewall & some ineffective

heat units they froze their kiesters
