The Bronx Zoo #1 (From Eric Beheim)

Several years ago, Buckles posted a few “thumbnail” frame enlargements from a 10-minute educational film titled WHO’S WHO IN THE BRONX ZOO. Here is a more complete look at this film, and this time, the frame enlargements are bigger. This film has no copyright date, but is mentioned in a 1948 catalog of educational films, so it dates back at least that far. From time to time, Buckles will post insightful comments about the Bronx Zoo that are submitted by those familiar with this institution and its history. They should be able to provide us with more information about what is being shown in these images.
