If anyone returns to this one, a bit of looking found this act was titled the Riding Four. Naturally, the actors varied. Here, we have a puma, a bear, a dog, and we might make out a monkey, on four horses. In 1913, the equine stars were Denver, Romeo, Cuba, and Marcus, carrying a Persian leopard, a black bear, a dog and an ape, shown by Charles Berry. This act was presented by Fred Vallie, in 1914. The act likely worked in 1915 & 1916, but revues gave it no mention. It is listed again for 1917 & 1918 as worked by Margaret Ricardo but with the carriers being ponies. For 1919, Bessie Harvey, who also doubled as the singing prima donna, had this act. This may be the lady in our photo. By 1920, the Riding Four was performed by Pearl Hamilton, also a contender for this photo's ID.
