"The Clown And The Kids" (From Eric Beheim)

Emmett Kelly’s last big-screen appearance was in THE CLOWN AND THE KIDS, an international production filmed in Bulgaria and released in the U.S. in 1967. In addition to Kelly, the only name in the cast that you are likely to recognize is that of Tony Velona, who is credited with writing the music & lyrics for the film’s musical numbers. (Velona contributed the lyrics to the John Ringling North songs that were used in Ringling-Barnum’s 1959 edition.)
