Lancaster, Missouri #2

Dear Ms. Kramer, I was indeed born in Lancaster in 1935 during the time William Hall Jr. was selling off the last of the elephants so I have no first hand memories. My father however was there during the 1920's and '30's and told me many stories. He joined the Masonic Lodge there and when he had available time he would hang out at the Barber Shop where a barber taught him his memory work between customers while the shop was empty. Seems I remember him saying the Masonic Temple was called "The Lodge Of Love".
