I am working on my Missouri National History Day project and my topic is William P Hall. I have read all of the Bandwagon articles and have lots of secondary sources via articles and books. At this point in my research I need some personal interviews and stories - naturally given the dates Hall was alive, this is getting harder to accomplish. In addition, I have been to the Hall Museum, which is a block from my house, and gathered all I could there. I was wondering if you remember any stories your dad told you regarding Hall or the animals? Thank you, Lauren Kramer 7th grade Kirksville Middle School |

I wish my college students understood research like this young lady does. I think we would all like to read her paper when she is finished! Maybe she can get it put on the Bandwagon web-page!

Ms Kramer, would that all 7th graders in America could write as well as you and alot of adults too.
I agree with Carl I would very much like to read your completed paper. I wish you the very best in school and in life.

Thank you for your nice words! I will defiantly send my completed project to the Bandwagon site and this blog as well. However, I choose to create a website for my final presentation, and I will be glad to send a link. I compiled my sources this week and ended up with 42! My teacher was thrilled. Now, I just have to tie it all together with this year's theme, "Turning Points in History: People, Events, Ideas." I love the idea that this all happened about a block away from where I am growing up! My project is due mid-February and the contest is held on the last Saturday in February. I will be able to send the link after the competition. Thank you again! - Lauren
I would like to thank everyone for your comments! My website for National History Day won first place at the regional competition and now I am revamping the site for the state competition.
