Rossi's Musical elephants were on the Buffalo Bill show for a couple years before returning to Europe. One 1910 newspaper account listed them as NELLIE, PETIE, ROSA and PIERRETTE. ( It's a newspaper, take it for what it's worth. )

That's interesting.
We once camped out with our elephants at Paul Van Pool's place in Joplin.
In the evening he showed some films that included the Buffalo Bill street parade with a number of young elephants.
I remember my Dad saying to Paul that prior to that, he had always doubted the show ever had any elephants.
