So many of us appeared at the CHOF thru the years. We did it multiple times. I recall Lilliana the CHEK. foot juggler who would drive into the parking lot in her taxicab thrre minutes before she would run into the ring, do a good foot juggling act, take her bow, go into dressing room and quickly change clothes, then back to her cab for some more cab calls. What a gal. A few times her pick ups would be right at the CHOF. Very confusing to her fares you can be sure. Only in Sarasota and the circus biz.johnny
P.S. It was low budget but a nice piece of change during the winter months if you did not have any winter dates booked. Lots of acts even worked during tough times in the summer months. It was open every day of the year. Four a day as I recall, but you could augment the families variety of acts. Some not so good.No body, animals or people could park overnight so after the last show you would load and blow until the next late morning show. johnny
They had this indoor ring with some old Ringling Rubber and also an outdoor ring in the "courtyard" for cat acts, elephants, etc. I used to ride high school out there. It was good footing, etc. I gues thru the years all of my daughters did Swinging ladder, cloud swing, etc in that inside show area. Organ a nd drums were the music.

Could something like this work at the Kelly's Farm?
