Maybe the worst thing the "newer"

regime ever did was the systematic

elimination of the entire old guard

Right, you are. Tuffy Genders, the Lloyd Morgans, Sr. and Jr., McCormick Steele, and such vastly knowledgeable insiders were summarily 86'ed one by one. In most cases, a very young Kenny was allowed to swing the ax, and the anger, bitterness, and disgust were indelible, as the new owners revelled in their power.
