For any newcomers: Mary, Sidney and Anna May were part of Beatty's settlement when he left Cole Bros after the disastrous 1938 season and all had come to Cole from the Hall farm about the time Buckles was coming into the world.
Cora, Inez, Marion and Addie (later called Hattie) were the famous Asa Candler Coca-Cola elephants of Atlanta and were on Downie Bros, then Wallace Bros and to Beatty when he bought that show.
Babe came fresh to Downie and then followed the Wallace route to Beatty.
