Wow.. Caught just the end of Nicole’s interview on the CBS Sat morning news today.. She was extolling next year’s new Ringling show coming into the just-opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn next Spring. (Bye-bye the Garden????????) AND.. also in the same segment this new circus exhibit.. and book. What a fantastic find!! Look here.. and be amazed!! (Seems the gallery is at 18 West 86th St. just off Central Park West.) Look around the other links.. including this page on the book: “Circus and the City: New York. 1793-2010.” Hey.. Just read that Ringling will be returning to the Garden in 2014!! |

Maxine House, who drove God Bless her, and I were privileged to attend a preopening event on this past thursday evening from 6-8PM.
I found it to be wonderful, very well done with everything from a pair of Dan Rice's pants, to PT Barnum's Top hat, to "Grandma's dress. Posters you'd like to have hanging in your home, artifacts galore, spread over three floors in a converted brownstone. I would suggest that if you can make it,
don't miss it.
I would have attached some photos with this, I took alot, but with Diane gone I am still trying to find someone who can learn me how to do all this confounded computer "stuff"
