I'm something of a movie buff and tho not well remembered, Tom Tyler had some memorable bits.
In "Stage Coach" he was gunned down by John Wayne in the climactic saloon shoot-out.
As a Confederate Officer he turned back Scarlett O'Hara during the evacuation of Atlanta.
In "Drums Along the Mohawk" he was the last of the settlers returning to the fort and their anxious wives uttering,"There's no one alive behind me!"
And who can forget the evil Philistine torturing the blind Samson in the gristmill?
