johnny said...: Whitey: seems I recall Ben's last tented circus was Campa and from there he took out that shopping center opera. He kept the tough elephant Hank [henrietta] and a liberty act. Ex son-in-law Corky Plunkett was with it as Gen. Useful and worked Hank. Ben would give him Hank and he ended up on Corky;s James Cristy tenter where I believe he killed a towner and was "red lighted" I think Pete had Wallace Bros. And Diano his show. Ben did also keep a Hippo pit show and took it to alaska with Baily Cristiani and later had it on the big Cristiani tent circus. Please feel free to correct me.
