Long time no see. Thanks for including the info and photos re. my Tate figure on your blog. And I think you're right, only old time showbums like us are impressed with those little mummies and shrunken heads.
One expert said he had seen a Tate figure get as much as $1,000 at auction. Now I wish I had bought a gross (pun intended)!
I still remember your "babysitting" my brothers and I in the basement of the old Minneapolis Auditorium way back when during the Dobritch days of the Shrine Circus. Mom and Dad (who isn't doing all that well for the past year...in a nursing home in Minneapolis with dementia) were involved in some CFA activity of some sort and they pawned us off on you for an hour or two.
Fast forward 40 years or so when I was single and working for Gopher in Utah and you were in Salt Lake with Ringling. I came up to visit, and after the show while out eating at a restaurant with a group of showfolks, you looked around and said, "Is Davison here?" That was kind and felt like I was still being looked after!
