From Buckles #2

km, a photo by bucklesw1 on Flickr.

This is Eddie Murillo Sr. & Jr. and Victor Gaona with Kelly-Miller in 1951.
Basically a ground bar act with a catcher on one end. Eddie Sr. was the catcher.
The next year the show had a similar act, the Hanels, that included a dwarf.
The first act of this kind I can remember was the Chambertys on the Cole Show.
I found them all very entertaining.

I can see where Richie got his good looks, I can also see a lot of Armando in his Dad here. ~frank

I will always be grateful to the

Gaona family as it was Victor that

introduced me (with high praise)

to Trolle Rhodin & in turn began

my involvement with Big Bertha

1st out of the box was with & for

Charly Baumann & it was Mrs Gaona

that taught me how to eat REALLY

hot spicey food by avoiding lip

contact as much as possible
