You have great timing! Last night at dinner my wife and I were talking about how the circus moved all their stuff (in anticipation of the Cole Brothers being in Metro Orlando this week). I was explaining about how the supplies and such are containerized and moved by truck when the train got to it's destination and how it got more complicated when the RBBB moved "indoors" because most of the arenas weren't on a siding and how the cars would be spotted away from the arena and then everybody had to move back and forth from the train to the arena, on a shuttle bus. These pictures helped to illustrate what I was explaining to her and helped her picture the discussion. Thanks so much for the pics.
Did Kenneth Feld really charge his performers 25 cents each (one way) to ride this old school bus from the train yard to coliseum? as mentioned in his book "Ringmaster" by Kristopher Antekeier. No wnder he only stayed with the show one season.

The schoolbus reminds me of
Schwartzie's kid who wrecked
2 of them in the same season
before they gave him a brand
new custom straight job that
was built & racked to carry
6 brand new Super Troupers
& he wrecked that on the 3rd
jump (I still have the lights)
1 of those wrecked bus frames
became the base for Elvin's 1st
cannon that looked like a rocket

I don't think they ever had an
"old" school bus as they didn't
seem to last that long
