Another Exciting Day!

I have to be at this place by 6:30 this morning for an out-patient operation, a little slicing and dicing involved this time.
The instructions in this folder insist that I be confined to my bed for the next few days and I overheard my wife and daughter muttering something about disconnecting my computer if they are disobeyed.
How the mighty have fallen!

I was at this same place a year and a half ago, for rotater cuff surgery. A very good place, for body reconstruction. You'll be just fine and we'll hear from you in a few days.

As the
Wizard of Oz said: You are talking to a man who has laughed in the face of death, sneered at doom and chuckled at catastrophe. I was petrified.

I think the Wizard was refering to his Wife and Daughter...

The operation will be a piece-O-cake...

My understanding comes from recent experience--4 bone surgeries in under 2 years, and another spinal fracture discovered today. Let's knock this off and get back on the arrows.

Get well to you, and good wishes for Barbara and all on your homefront.

With a spouse in the hospital for a little over 7 months and still trying to take it "one day at a time" I guess I never really told you how EXTRA VERY meaningful/enjoyable you and the blog have been for me...giving me welcome respit and keeping me in touch with CIRCUS +. Come to think of it the Woodcock Family has meant so very much to us for somewhere around 30 years.

So dear friend and family too, as my Southern Army buddies used to say, "God bless your real good!"
AND "Y'all hurry back (in good health) ya hear!"

Paul

PS That shot of Shannon Shaq & Tommy gave a couple of male nurses a big kick. You're spreading joy and happiness farther than you might ever think. Listen to the caregivers and your ladies so when you're back...YOU'RE BACK ! !

Buckles --- two things : 1) pack a pair of your own jammies, so you don't have to use the hospital's open back ones , and 2) stay away from doctors named Conrad Murray ! You'll be fine --- try using the old " I could sure go for a burger and cherry malt " line on the care givers ! Trust me on this -- it works every time !
