This shot shows the panels lit up to announce the opening of the high wire act on the Blue unit (140th ed) in Trenton, NJ, during May 2010. Once the lights are off, the screens are quite transparent and fortunately, since their introduction, use of them has been quite judicious resulting in greater effect when used. Each screen can also be raised and lowered; in fact, they are very effectively “stepped” early in the show to show the Great Wall of China for the single Russian-swing act (but themed oriental) that performs at one end of the arena floor and so the screens effectively help fill some of the void to direct attention to the high-energy act. |

i mis-wrote, it's a Russian bar act, not swing, where the light panels show the Great Wall. Same troupe also is one of two in the teeterboard display, one of the best presentations in recent years.
