When I was about 35 going through the first of many of my mid life crises’ obviously brought on by my ten years at Circus World, I built a 7 foot high low wire/fat rope thing thinking that I’d take it on the road. I was to be dressed as a waiter with an arrogant patron on the far pedestal. In my mind the blow off would be giant swings from my rope with a full twisting lay out. Reality hit me like a ton of bricks. Not only could I not do the blow off, how could I leave a great job, new house, kids in a good school to follow my life’s calling? Perhaps twenty years later I should build it again.

Tony Fossett?
Adolph Dubsky - I think, cousin to the USA Royal Hungaria Troupe, a/k/a The Dubskys.
Was this not the Swiss gentleman who Ed Sullivan featured quite often called "Linon?"
Is this the performer who doubled for Jimmy Durante in "Billy Rose's JUMBO"??? The costume, make-up and gear look similar to the film. ~frank
