For the uninitiated, the tracks on Brad's Cat feature street pads, allowing it to be operated without tearing up a town's asphalt. In normal field work, as when I operated a townie D-6 dozer, the tracks are outfitted with heavy cleats for traction. On muddy lots, street pads had little grip, but the circus man had elephants.
