From Buckles #1

I recall hearing that in the early years before they got a barn built, they simply loaded the elephants in the cars on a cold night.
This picture might indicate that.

Looks like a Eddie Jackson photo with the converted grandstand building in the back ground. Sparks also wintered here after being purchased from the American Circus Corp.in the early 30's.
