Don't know his name, but judging from his watch, he's probably left handed. ~frank
It must be Lefty.

This is Keith Richards with Heston. He was a Paramount contract player during the 40' & 50's.

Dom -
Mr Richards (Born:7-18-1915 to 3-23-1987, age 71) in Los Angeles, CA.), appears to have had a very steady career in movies and television. From 1940 to 1964, he appeared in multiple episodes of almost every every early Western on early television and an equal number of "B" films, with the exception of TGSOE. His last appearance was in the series "This is the Life"
This is probably the wagon that DeMille took back to Hollywood to use for the robbery sequence.
Eric,
I don't think that DeMille took this wagon to Hollywood. It does not appear on any of the lists in my files.
Paramount bought several wagons and two old flat cars from Ringling that was shipped to Paramount Studios. This way by buying them they could do with them as they pleased.
This was the main ticket wagon and office so it would have been needed on the lot. I do believe Paramount recreated part of the wagon for the robbery scene. Look closely and you will see that the wheels are covered in canvas? and also the roof has a canvas top not a cover???
