In the 1840s to 1860s the menagerie was also presented in the principal pavilion, two-in-one.
Yes, and in the background we see giraffe mom Edith with her offspring Gloria born that year in Boston Garden. The sire Boston looks on.
An earlier frame showed Edith being loaded into her wagon in Sarasota. She was then noticeably pregnant.
Could that be William Bendix
This isn't Bendix, but DeMille did surprise us with a number of film folks in cameos.
