looks like they borrowed Harry Dann's face--of course, Harry was announcer on C-B in the late 60s.
I saw the show in Paducah KY in Sept, 1980, and I bought and still have this program. It is sad to me that time has not been kind to the tented circus, and even more that my grandkids may eventually not ever see a live elephant. This circus had tons of elephants, and we the fans took it for granted. Buckles thanks for your blog. This is my first post but I have been reading your blog for years.
The cover artwork is by the late circus artist George DaDeppo from Detroit. If you look at many things he did over the yearw; he often used a likeness of Harry Dann in his clown make up as a centerpiece in his posters or program covers.
