I first met Lee, Tommy and the girls back in March ’82 at the Detroit Shrine date, where I walked Mysore for Banners, Shovelled behind Bucky’s five elephants and slept nearby. The first photo I took during shows and the second promo photo Lee gave me showing how long Tommy’s tusks were before he broke one off and Lee cut off the second tusk to match the broken one.
