No! leopards. Cheetahs have proved the most difficult of the big cats to breed. There was not a single one born anywhere in USA until Philadelphia zoo in 1956.
In more recent year there have been many successes but that came only after intensive study of their reproductive biology. The problem seems to have been that the wild populations do not have enough genetic diversity.

I cared for a tiny Leopard cub
of Dave Hoover's named Zelda
for a few weeks & it was the
nastiest little ball of fur that
was all claws & tiny sharp teeth
Cute as the devil but hell bent
Elvin & Jeanette has 2 Cheetahs
trying to do a ring 3 display
with a charriot that I'm sure
Buckles well remembers
Good looking but not much in
the performing angle
