Artwork showing Lolita appears in the booklet that was included along with the reels and which provides a synopsis of the story. (One wonders if Hubert Wells and Lolita were paid extra by View-Master, or if this was just another service that they had to perform as part of their being hired to appear in the episode.) |

Money, or the lack thereof, might have been an issue in 1964 when View-Master produced a set of reels for the popular TV series BONANZA. A careful examination of image #1 on reel #1 reveals Ben, Adam, Hoss, and Little Joe all subtly “giving the finger” to the View-Master cameraman! (The Cartwrights ALWAYS stick together!) That particular set, which is now something of legend among View-Master collectors, was produced during the filming of the famous episode where Hoss orders a load of fireworks from China and receives instead a Chinese mail order bride.
