Hi Buckles,

I noticed on the blog that you said that Barbara liked the head standing elephant empresses on Ringling Gold because they added a different look to things.

The French circus site "aucirque.com" recently included this photo of Alex and Christian Gartner performing with their elephants at the Festival du Cirque des Mureaux. It appears that they also have added a new "twist" to a familiar trick.

All the best,

Don

regarded an elephant with a faded complexion as good luck."

Hey y’all,
This picture sparked a memory of this little Russian guy named Meko, dose that ring a bell? Nate rescued him when he was in the barn where he should not have been. I think CW worked him in the act with a principle elephant and a teeterboard. His first launch sent him over the elephant and he landed looking at this elephant’s tail. He was a brick shit house and soon was landed precise twisting somersaults to the head of this amazing animal. Then Meko did an aerial ring act and the blow off was a swing that he climbed onto and standing up swung the swing in circles. His blow off was diving from the swing with a rope concealed in his pants legs. The first time he did this trick his he didn’t know when to dive and he was snapped like a whip. Being the smiling muscular fellow that he was he just shuck it off and did the trick right from then on.
