1994 Blue Show

I lifted this from my journal, containing a comment about "Tommy".
As mentioned Silverlake would occasionally take him away to do
promotional work, etc.
Can't recall why he would have returned to visit. Too bad he wasn't
there for the weigh-in.
For some reason Graham didn't weigh his three either.

Thank you for sharing, Buckles. Who was Mort? Was that another name for Romeo? Please forgive my ignorance.

Yes Patty and Sonny called him "Mort". You could have called him anything since both calves were green.

That's interesting because Graham told me the next year (1995) that Romeo's real name was "Ted" for Ted Svertsky.

I named him "Ted" when I trained both him an "Juliet" at the Orlando Fairgrounds where the Blue Show camped the winter of 1994-95.
He now resides at the Stud Farm in Polk City but I forget what they call him now.
