This was the Wine Glass payoff float pulled by the three lobster elephants that have appeared on the blog in the past.
It was one of the most elegant floats of the Miles White years. The beautiful 6' tall Anne Mace was usually the center piece although sometimes the equally beautiful Pat Warner(also 6') rode in the wine glass holding a huge fan of yellow & white ostrich plumes.
Three show girls with large yellow & white ostrich plume headdresses stood by each fish and trident.
In the Garden as the float made its way around the track, small machines above the rigging filled the arena with bubbles. Quite effective as the bubbles sparkled under the spot lights.
