Some circus music trivia: the spec music played for the Cleopatra float was BALLET EGYPTIAN by Luigini. (For the 108th edition, we played this same number for Jewell New's lion act.)
I noticed what drew your attention right away, it's the guy holding his nose.

The showgirl that portrayed Cleopatra was Margie Lawson (nee Margie Niatto of the wire act family).
During spec she held a large live snake.
Maybe the horses passed gas and that's why the driver is holding his noise (LOL).
