When I see a photo like this, I can't help wondering "WHO" actually drilled into the tusks and attached the chains!!!:-)Cindy Potter
I believe that most if not all of this hardware is only clamped on or around the actual tusks but sometimes they are shortened as shown here In Tommy's case they cut the long one to match the one he broke but they later sleeved the pieces on with decorative trimmings to help with the "King Tusk" image Brigadier Buckles could provide more precise information (please)
