To relieve some of the tension created by the grim goings on, the filmmakers interject occasional bits of “comic relief” by having Eddie demonstrate some of his clown gags. Here, he is showing off his latest creation, a magic cabinet. After first showing how it works, he invites Mr. Big to try it out.
