Bronx Zoo #2

In addition to the usual shots of zoo animals, this film shows quite a bit of the behind-the-scenes activity that the average zoo-goer never gets to see. Here, a newly-arrived critter is being delivered to the Zoo’s hospital for its initial examination. (The vehicle towing the shipping crate looks like a forerunner of the ones that Ringling used to transport cages in and out of arenas.)
