Since the book Otto is holding appears to have its title written out in Spanish, this photo might have been taken during Ringling’s winter appearance in Havana.

This photo is from the Garden in 1956. Notice the drapery in the background. This is the one that was used in 1956.
Several of the photos in the book were shot in the Garden during the 1956 performance. The book however was not sold in the Garden but only under canvas. Hence 1956 Garden shots.
Did they know that it would all end in July so as to produce this great book???
