We used to use the sausage dog [with 2 midgets and Lou in drag] sometimes on a moments notice because of some glitch and he would be there and it was always a scream. Jackie LeClaire said...: No, question, Johnny. He was the clown that everyone had in thier minds when they thought circus clown. A unique individual who really thought outside the box. No one could do Drag numbers like he could, because he was so far from being a drag, that it was hilarious. Lots of Drag that was done on circuses was funny only to the other performers, what we call an "inside joke". Not Lou, he read funny for everyone. I do not have the vocabulary to give him the praise he deserves.
