He was my Grandfather and the kindest man I have ever known. He shall live through the circus and through my memories. I will never forget him. I love him very much.

A wonderful man and extraordinary trapeze artist.

I recall many times when I was in my late teens visiting Rose and Fay Alexander and Reggie and Bonnie would visit as they lived about a quarter mile away in Desoto Acres. It was like being surrounded by royalty of the circus world.

My condolences to his family as they deal with this difficult time.

Havinjg been around during some wonderful years ago and priveleged to be A friend and fellow showman with some great circus people including Reggie and family. I am not an aerialist, but have seen most of them over the years and Reggie, I truly believe was elite among the all time greats. His beautiful lay out double was flying trapeze form at it best. He and Harold Ward personified the quote "beaty, grace and skill on the flying trapeze" And he went on from there. Fortunately there are some great Videos-movies of his performances. This year the Cicus historical convention will be in the "flying trapeze" city of Bloomington, Ill. where great flyers of the past will be noted and I certainly hope that Reggie Armour is so recognized. Our sympathy for Bonnie and family. With Reggie"S DEEP ROOTS HERE IN sARASOTA maybe we will be able to pay our respects along with so many others still here that remember the Armours. Let us know the coming details.

IS there a place to look up names for American Circus people? My grandfather joined the circus train (I believe in Chicago) early before 1926 (maybe 1910-15?) Roger Howorth, "Reggie" Would have stopped by 1926 when my father was born. any help would be great
