Now I could be all wet on this, but the talker with the mike I believe is Jim Windland and the lady with her hand up I believe is Sandi Windland. Sadly both of them have passed away. They sold their winterquarters property in Gibtown where my family and numerous others spent many a winter to the Reithoffer Shows carnival for a carnival winterquarters which is what it currently is.
You can pre-order Al Stencell's great new book about sideshows: http://www.amazon.com/Circus-Carnival-Ballyhoo-Sideshow-Jabbers/dp/1550228803/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263592439&sr=1-12
I'm sorry not to have identified Jim and Sandy Windland. In '81, Hoover put 3 tiger cubs in the Side Show at times,to bolster the menagerie, and I'd check them during the day for feeding, water, and bedding. The Windlands were very nice to me, but had running feuds with some of the workingmen, about which I remained a cagehand, and neutral to Side Show affairs. They loved being able to advertise the cubs. I am also sorry to know only now of their passing. We exchanged 2 or 3 Christmas cards before losing touch.

I see Heidi Herriott on the bally platform. This photo would be from 1982, which was the last year that Beatty-Cole toured with a side show.
The tall guy at left is Walter, also a sword swallower, whom I think set or equalled a record number of swords--was it 13 or so?
The girl with her hand up might
be Margarita (Vasquez) Ayala
Years later she went by the
show name of Marguerite Michelle
