My copy has this rubber-stamped autograph and inscription reading, “Milt Taylor, the clown I met at Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus.” I’m assuming that Milt Taylor was either selling these on the side to earn a little extra cash, or was giving them away to visitors as part of some PR effort. (Perhaps someone out there can tell us the actual story behind this inscription.) |
