From John Whitfield

Buckles,
Larry Sheffield, former Beatty-Cole concession manager, husband of Sheilah Frazier,
passed away this weekend also. I have no further details as of now. He was in bad
shape with cancer.

I am very sorry to learn of Larry's passing on to the big top in the sky.
Was a great friend on Beatty Cole for many years and was always full of circus stories from the past.
In his concession trailer was a relic from the past, one of those old time square safes that used a very large skeleton key that opened from the top.
Larry is gone but not forgotten as I still have some of those Beatty Cole cups they used for many years given to me by Larry.
Thanks for the memories Larry.

Larry and Shiela were friends from my first day back on the Beatty show in over 16 years. I had been there in '64, and this was 1980. I think they were over there for more than 25 years, truly part of the great family the Beatty show was then.

Rest in peace, Larry. And sincere condolences to Shiela.
