DSCN1505, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. August 29th, Saturday will be the gathering of the “Friends of the Circus World Museum” (Circus World Museum, Inc.); whether you are a member or not. Here in Baraboo we will gather for an early evening “Dutch Treat” dinner at the Farm Kitchen just South of Baraboo at 6PM. This annual gathering will mark the ending weekend of the outdoor show season of the Circus World Museum. Come to Baraboo that Saturday and enjoy a full day of circus fun. At 9:30am the weekly circus social time is at Gem City Candy on the Square in Downtown Baraboo. Coffee is available along with other beverages for a start of the day “Jack Pot” session. When you can break away from all the chatter and frivolity the shows start at Circus World mid-morning. Enjoy the afternoon at the Museum and then join us at the Farm Kitchen at 6PM to top off the evening. After dinner, a little more time for socializing with most of us of to the Park Plaza Clarion Hotel Bar (Glacier Rock) for the remainder of the evening. So bring plenty of batteries for your hearing aids or make sure you get enough sleep before you get here cause this is a great full day of enjoying your circus friends. New friends, old friends, just a great time for everyone to mingle and have fun. See you in Baraboo on the 29th. Come one, come all; if you have never been here come and join in.
