Circus Memories #3

Baraboo-4, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

That year, CWM had a display of circus music written by the likes of Karl L. King, C.E. Duble, Fred Jewell, W. P. English, Russell Alexander, etc. Even at the age of 15, I was playing clarinet in my high school band and orchestra, and was considering a career as a professional musician. Seeing this music display was what first inspired me to want to play in the Ringling band.

The original score for Karl L. King's "The Big Cage" was once on display in this area. I wonder where it is today?
