That year, CWM had a display of circus music written by the likes of Karl L. King, C.E. Duble, Fred Jewell, W. P. English, Russell Alexander, etc. Even at the age of 15, I was playing clarinet in my high school band and orchestra, and was considering a career as a professional musician. Seeing this music display was what first inspired me to want to play in the Ringling band. |
