Roger Smith said...: Parley knew everyone from the big movie moguls and top stars,through the ranks of the character actors, legit stage performers--those on and off-stage, all the circus folk in his lifetime, right on to the greenest boy on Big Top or Props. A raconteur of the first rank, he could regale you with fascinating stories about every one of them. People were entranced by his stories even when they didn't know who he was talking about.; 13 July, 2009 17:21
